Is a hearing Dogs for the deaf necessary for us deaf people?

Hello all… I want know about having a hearing dog for the deaf, is it really necessary for us deaf people to have one? I was thinking about getting a hearing dog for myself one day to let me know about sounds, like door bell, phone, and other noises. I think it be wonderful to have a champion with me, i can bond with the dog, u can’t hug a flasher and say wow good job or if power go out, u still have the dog that can signal u about noises. so i want know what u think about idea of me getting an hearing dog for the deaf one day??? thanks for watching my vlog…
